:: First Aid Post
We would normally establish a first aid post,
equipped to deal with a number of casualties simultaneously.
The post is equipped with examination couch, wound
wash down facilities, bandages and dressings,
oxygen and entinox, splinting equipment, stretchers
and a casualty wheelchair.
:: On The Course
The type and size of your event will dictate the
number of event first aiders and equipment we
will deploy. We have particular skills in dealing
with mountain bike and road bike events, horse
jumping events, agricultural shows and summer
fairs.
We have two Emergency Medical
Technicians (rescue) in our cadre and a number
of 4x4 trained drivers.
We are equipped to deploy up
to 4 teams stationed strategically around the
event. We have two 4x4 vehicles, one of which
is a fully equipped Range Rover Rescue Ambulance.
These vehicles are available when we might require
to work in off road situations.
