Rescue

Outdoor Specialists

Our team of specialist rescuers have connections with the most respected rescue organisations in the country.  Several members of our team have a mountain rescue or fire and rescue service background.

Rescuers Familiar with the Environment

We recruit our team of specialist rescuers from a range of professional organisations, particularly the Fire and Rescue Service, Mountain Rescue and the Health Service.  The skills and knowledge our people bring to your event is unique, and you can therefore be assured that wherever your rescue needs, irrespective of the prevailing weather conditions, we have the confidence and ability to operate safely and efficiently.  Casualty removal from difficult or generally inaccessible locations is our speciality. Two of our 4x4 ambulances are former operational NHS ambulances; custom converted to accommodate the essential equipment you’d expect to find in such vehicles.  We will add additional equipment as required by your event, thus ensuring the response we provide for any casualty is customised to your precise requirements. Each of our drivers are Lantra Award approved to ensure casualties are transported safely and comfortably, taking due consideration of the on-road or off-road driving conditions.

Equipment for Specialist Rescue

Mountain bike events, equestrian events, country fairs.  Each of these will carry different levels of risk, some more complex than others, especially given the remote locations many of these gatherings will be hosted.  Our experience attending these events is second to none, and we will ensure a full range of equipment is on-site at all times.  The key to organising equipment is planning, and we’ll be with you from the start; supporting you throughout the pre-event phase. We regularly train with, and operate alongside, other emergency services including the Scottish Ambulance Service (including their helicopters), HM Coastguard, Mountain Rescue and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. Additionally, are a fully licensed Motor Sport Association Rescue Unit and can provide additional advanced rescue services for any motor sport event. Contact us now to discuss your rescue provision.
